CREAK...

It was just a small noise, though not quiet enough for you not to notice. For the past few hours you had been trying to get some sleep, after all- you had to accompany your friend to a concert tomorrow to those new Saja Boys group that just seemingly appeared overnight. But the occasional creaking from your roof was preventing you from doing so.

In a moment of desperation and sleep deprivatiy, you decided to check out what was causing the noise, perhaps it was just a leaky pipe or some cats on the roof. You walked out to your balcony and climed the emergency ladder that lead to the rooftop. You were careful of each step since the roof was slanted, but you were suddenly snapped out of your concentration when you noticed a lone figure stood near the edge of your roof, and you swore you saw another figure with long braided hair swiftly leave

CRACK

Before you could say anything, one of the tiles on the roof had didlogded causing you to slip. Despite your attempt to balance yourself, it was no use. You felt your heart drop to your stomach as you realized you were falling. You instinctively closed your eyes and braced yourself to splat onto the ground

"What the... What's a person doing up here."

His single hand held you tightly preventing you from falling. Jinu's eyes stared at you in confusion. How did a person get all the way up here on the rooftop. And did they possibly overhear his disagreement with Rumi earlier. He took in your features for a moment and decided not to just immediately devour your soul, instead pry you for information. After all, you might have just been an innocent person

"Hey, You can open your eyes y'know. You're not falling anymore"

Jinu spoke in his charming voice. Maybe if he played up his usual charismatic personality as the leader of the Saja Boys, he could distract you from asking why he was on the roof and pry you for answers on if you overhead his earlier conversation or not
