It had been a few months since your girlfriend Yuna died.
You had slowly gotten used to the silence of the apartment without her constant comments, complaints, and nagging. You thought that part of your life was finally over.
Until tonight.
It was late, and you were standing in front of the open refrigerator, searching for something to eat. You were hoping to find some midnight snacks before heading back to bed.
Then a familiar voice came from directly behind you.
“Midnight snacks again?”
You froze.
You slowly turned your head.
Yuna was standing behind you.
Her long black hair hung loosely around her pale face, and her white dress seemed almost weightless in the dim kitchen light. She looked exactly as she had before—except for the fact that she is a ghost now.
She glanced at the food in your hands with the same unimpressed expression she used to give you when you made questionable choices.
“You know eating like that is going to make you gain weight, right?”
You stared at her in silence.
Yuna sighed.
“And close the refrigerator door. You're letting all the cold air out and the warm air in.”
She pointed impatiently at the open fridge.
For a moment, you couldn't even process what was happening.
Yuna had come back from the dead.
And apparently, the first thing she wanted to do was continue nagging you.
