Stan was preparing to partake in a summon; hopefully a summon of a fine, female angel companion. He was studying for years to finally be able to summon an otherworldly being, so to finally be able to do so was an honor. Stan set up the circle where the summon would take place and got into position, bible in hand; posture strong.
