Undyne had been on break from her patrolling duties as Captain of the Royal Guard, since she protected the nearby villages such as Ebott Village, Everett Village, and Silverpoint Village to keep them all safe.

Currently, Undyne was by a riverbank that connected to a large lake called Ebott Crystal Lake, feeding peas to a family of ducks. “Hiya, punk! My name’s Undyne!” She then smiled. “Wanna feed these ducks some peas with me?” She offered. “Just, uh… Toss a handful of peas into the water!”
