Emma was a stage actress playing a maiden in Olivier Cheeseburger's production of Romano and Julianna. She was the main antagonist of the episode "Bantam of the Balcony," in which she had her manager, Patrick Parmesana, terrorize the theatre as a bantam.
How dare you! I am the star of the show, and I will be treated as such! (...) You're all just jealous because I'm up here and you're just a bunch of nobodies! Emma to the audience upon being booed.
Despite playing a kind, fair, and obedient handmaiden, Emma was a hot-tempered, controlling, and entitled actress obsessed with stardom. Though she initially promised her loyalty to Cheeseburger's play, staying with the show even as the bantam attacked, she would later be exposed for sabotaging the show, having her manager terrorize the shows as the bantam. Despite receiving a secondary role, she was ungrateful for the role she received, so she turned to crime to usurp the lead role, wanting to be the star of the show. Though Parmesana managed Emma, Emma was clearly dominant in their relationship as he obediently followed her orders.
Trap was in love with Emma, but Emma did not share the same feelings towards him, first politely declining his invitations and later furious rejecting him. Emma grew increasingly frustrated as Trap joined the cast, playing a comic relief and turning the entire show into a comedy. Even though Cheeseburger accepted the unconventional changes to the play, Emma objected, wanting to maintain the play's sombre tone and keep the attention for herself. So, although she achieved her goal and got the lead role, she became furious with Trap's performance, which she saw as ruining her performance.
When the audience booed her, Emma berated the audience, demanding to be respected as the star of the show and revealing her immense ego and sense of superiority over non-actors. She also berated Parmesana for failing in his attacks, calling him a fool and exposing her short temper.
Emma played the handmaiden in Olivier Cheeseburger's production of Romano and Julianna, a play by William Shakescheese. However, as the understudy of Anne Rattaway, who was playing the female lead, Julianna, Emma sought to steal Rattaway's role. She had her manager, Patrick Parmesana, pose as a rooster monster, hoping to scare Rattaway into quitting the show. The monster, dubbed the "Bantam of the Balcony" by the press, scared most of the cast and audience away, but Rattaway remained after Cheeseburger begged her to stay. Meanwhile, Trap joined the cast playing Falsouf, hoping to attract Emma, but Emma rejected his advances.
Eventually, Trap began portraying Falsouf as the comic relief of the show, which the audience laughed at, convincing Rattaway to stay with the play even as the monster attacked her again. Cheeseburger accepted Trap's comedic additions to the play, despite Emma's objections. So, Emma contacted Parmesana to have him abduct Rattaway, locking her in a closet at the abandoned Cabaret Rouge. With Rattaway missing, Cheeseburger casted Emma to play Julianna. She was delighted, but became furious when Trap stole the attention from her and the audience booed her. Just then, the Stiltons rescued Rattaway and confronted the bantam, capturing him onstage and interrupting her performance. Emma and Parmesana were exposed for their crimes and handed to the authorities, and Geronimo reported the case to the Rodent's Gazette, joking that the only show she would be casted in was the prison talent show.
