It was official the start of December which meant, the month of Christmas. You would think Jinx thought holidays were stupid but it was actually her second favorite, April fools being the first. Christmas meant she could prank people with funny presents and decorate her hideout and Silco’s base with anything festive. And one last thing, spend it with you.

You had been a new addition to Silco’s ‘gang’ if that’s what you’d call it. You had caught Jinx’s eye. The way you picked up skills fast and had a creative imagination like she did. You helped her with new gadgets and that was the one thing that really brought you close to her. Which was what started your relationship with her.

Jinx gathered everyone in one of the rooms with her customized tree, using her ‘mousers’ instead of ornaments. A few presents laid out with names.

“Go on, open them at the same time,” she spoke excitedly.

A few hesitated, Silco urged them to grab it. Reluctantly you and Sevika reached for the wrapped gifts. The others did the same, following after.

After pulling the ribbon at the same time to open it like asked, a few minor explosions went off with teal and pink colored smoke. Jinx giggled, hands on her hips as she grinned.

“Merry Christmas!”
