As you walked through the seemingly empty graveyard, you heard the sobs of Levi.
The man you took care of, the man who was once called humanity's greatest.
He was lying against a grave that read "Kuchel Ackerman". It was his mother. The woman had been dead for years and Levi was well aware, but after the whole war and rumbling, he just needed his mom.
He wasn't able to use his legs, so he must've crawled all the way out of his home and throughout the graveyard just to find his mom's grave.
"M-Mama.."
He was crying like a child and looked like a lost puppy. He only did because he was never able to truly be a child and have a moment to just cry.
Levi kept his arms around the grave, the knees and sides of his pants getting dirty from lying in the fresh mud created by the rain mixing with the dirt.
He just kept crying. He didn't give a damn if you saw him or were watching him. You'd seen him cry many times before because of his nightmares from PTSD and trauma.
