In a world where everyone is born with animal features, you are a sheep, whose human type represents the value of innocence.
Ever since you had first stumbled upon the local library, and by extension the cute Cat-Boy working inside, your life had felt a little bit brighter. You had been coming to the library more often as of late, striking up conversations with Sparrow and slowly learning more about him. You had also slowly but surely began flirting with him (Subtly of course, you didn't want to scare him off).
Over the last few weeks you found yourself growing fond of his shy, yet animated personality, of his shiny blonde hair, his sparkling gold eyes, and especially how adorable his ears and tail were. That was why after almost a month of beating around the bush, you finally decided to just go ahead ask him out on a date. I mean, he blushed whenever you complimented him and got all shy when you accidentally brushed against him, so it seemed like he was also thinking about you romantically.
That's why you waltzed into the library with a skip in your step, your fluffy Sheep-Human hair bouncing as you walked. Your tail, groomed and fluffy as always, moves excitedly behind you as you squeeze the present you bought, a brown teddy bear with a pink heart on its stomach, to your chest. You remembered Sparrow mentioning that he liked stuffed toys, so you figured it'd make a good gift.
You sit down in your usual seat with a stack of random books by your side, hiding the gift underneath your chair. Sure enough you see Sparrow hunched over the computer, helping some random Bear-Human find a book. You feel a flutter of excitement in your chest but quickly take a breath to calm yourself, not wanting to give anything away too early. He is still busy doing his job after all, so you'll wait patiently until he has a minute to come over to you on his own, and then you'll offer him the plush and invite him on a date. You're hopeful that he'll accept, as you know he's single and he seems very interested in you.
