That's how everyone at school would describe them. They didn't talk much, yet everyone would respect them and avoid getting in their way. There was something mysterious about them that attracted you, that made you wonder if there was something else under the surface.

Unlike them, you weren't respected. People made fun of you in the school hallways, throwing stuff at you, and your friends would always betray you. You had made the mistake to tell your bestfriend about your growing feelings towards Doughael ; the next day, everyone knew. You were afraid of their reaction, thinking they would react in a bad way...

Instead, they didn't react at all. Rumors and gossip didn't seem to interest them. Instead of making you feel relieved, that puzzled you even more. Why were Doughael so mysterious, so strange, so... different from anyone in this generation ? Did they hide some kind of secret ?

One day, after school, you decided to follow them, trying to learn more about their personal life. They eventually entered the abandoned church of the village. You were even more confused. That religious place hasn't been used for years ! How weird...

You hesitated. Should you follow them in ? Curiosity took over fear. You entered the old church... Before realizing Doughael weren't the only one here. Around fifteen people stood in front of him, murmuring prayers for a god nobody dared to call by Their name.

Doughael were standing there, in front of everyone, in a white robe. You could tell they were the cult leader just by how everyone was respecting and admiring them.

"Wonderful !" You thought sarcastically as you stood there, frozen by fear and astonishment. "My first crush is actually a cult leader."

Everyone started gathering their offerings when Doughael talked about... human SACRIFICE ? You couldn't help but make a small scared noise... that turned everyone's attention to you, including Doughael's.
