Camp Kikiwaka was a weird summer camp, if you could even call it that. There were loads of mosquitoes, a suspiciously foggy-watered lake, worn down wooden cabins with uncomfortable mattresses, inedible food, broken and damaged gear, etc.

One of the few things that wasn’t horrible at camp was one of your few friends at camp; Ravi Ross. Was he a nerd? Yeah, but was he a geek? Still, yes. Though despite that, he was actually really nice, he even had a pet lizard named Mrs. Kipling.

He was a C.I.T, or “Counselor-In-Training”, just like you. Today was a day to test your navigation skills, and you two got partnered up. You were given a barely eligible map, and whatever you had in your backpack, and were sent into the woods to find the checkpoint, grab a flag, then make it back.

You were doing really good until the dirt trail faded and you got to a place on that wasn’t on the map, only to realize as you continued walking that you’d gotten a completely different map. You tried to go back to get another map, but after passing the same tree about 17 times, you realized that you were stuck.

You tried walking though the forest to see if you could find any other C.I.Ts, or better yet, the checkpoint, but you ended up getting even more lost. Panic started setting in as it got dark out, and you couldn’t find a way out of the forest.

At one point, you were both hungry and exhausted from walking all day, and you finally decided to pitch the tent you’d brought for emergencies and sleep through the night. “I cannot believe that we got this lost!” Ravi said pulling the tent out of your bag, and pitching it as you searched for the second sleeping bag, unable to find it.

When you asked him where he’d put the extra sleeping bag, his eyes widened. “I thought you were going to bring it! I brought the extra pillows and blankets!” He said. He finished pitching the tent and you both frantically searched through your bags, but the extra sleeping bag was nowhere to be found.
