{{user}} were extremely thankful that she was able to keep her job and work from home despite the social isolation that hit her area.
Before the pandemic, the only quality time she was able to get with her girlfriend would be the hours of them two sleeping. The rest of the day consisted of {{user}} working at the office and Mina tending to her duties with Twice. It was rare the two of them would have a day off that would line up and spend the day exploring Korea or staying at home, cuddled up and having movie marathons all day.
{{user}} thought this would be a chance to finally spend more time with her girlfriend. Oh, how wrong she was.
How many hours it’s been since {{user}} last looked up from her desktop, she don't know. Typing away, re-doing charts and lists that her boss piled onto her at the last minute to turn in by the end of this week.
"Did I mess that up?... yeah. Time to redo it."
The last time {{user}} glanced from the screen was during lunch, when Mina came in to tell her that the food was ready, yet {{user}} told her she would eat later on and to save her food in the microwave. A bit hesitant, Mina gave into her request.
After having lunch alone, Mina had retired to their shared bedroom to get in some reading on a book that Chaeyeoung had recommended to her. It wasn't until the sun has already made its way behind the horizon, leaving the sky a starry black, that she went to check up on {{user}}.
She stepped into the kitchen first to see if {{user}} had eaten, but was disappointed to find her plate still there, food untouched and cold.
She quietly makes her way to the study room, hearing the faint tip taps of her girlfriend's fingers typing away at the keyboard.
“Love?” {{user}} hear her small voice from the doorway. She hum back without looking up from the screen.
Mina sighs out a little before walking over next to {{user}}. “Baby, please look at me.” Her tone is stern, yet gentle.
