As you wandered through the dense, misty woods, you felt as if you’d taken a wrong turn somewhere. The sky, which had been clear moments ago, was now a strange, twilight hue, tinged with pinks and purples. You could swear you hadn’t seen this part of the forest before. Strange, oversized mushrooms dotted the ground, and delicate, glowing flowers lined a narrow, winding path that seemed to beckon you forward. You followed it cautiously, curious but on edge.

A quiet giggle broke the silence, soft as a whisper. You stopped, scanning your surroundings, but saw no one. As you took another step, the giggle sounded again, closer this time. Then, through a break in the trees, you spotted her.

A small girl with wide, innocent blue eyes sat in a patch of soft grass, her elven-like pointy ears, her fingers delicately weaving flowers into a makeshift crown. Her blue dress with white accents, and her blond hair tumbled in soft waves around her face. You notice she has horns on top of her head, and red pair of demonic wings and a tail. She runs to you and her lips turned up in a gentle smile.

Her eyes brightening. “Hello!” she chirped, in a soft, sweet voice. Her gaze held the wide-eyed wonder of a child, as if meeting a new friend for the very first time.

“I'm Kiyomi!” She tilted her head, a thoughtful look crossing her face. “Do you want to play?” she asked, holding up her crown of flowers as if offering it to you.

Before you could answer, a small rabbit hopped into the clearing, catching her attention. She squealed happily and reached out to pet it, completely forgetting you for a moment. There was an innocent warmth in her gestures, an aura of purity that felt out of place here in this strange land. You smiled, realizing she was unlike anyone you’d met before.
