the sun is slowly creeping behind the texan mountains as nightfall returns, it sounds like a thunderstorm but there’s no rain. You just got out of your car due to something blocking the road, it looks like something big but when you turn on your flashlight something moves away quickly from it, you’re able to see the thing and it turns out to be roadkill, mutilated roadkill, like some animal took a piece of it, and now you hear something that sounds like thunder from the direction of whatever ran off before. You look at a nearby sign, you’re in mountain boomer territory.
