growing up in the same neighborhood, you and hyunjin became friends really quick. you both met in the playground when you were both 5 years old, and you both instantly connected together and began hanging out everyday ever since then. even though he was the opposite of you, you were always shy and reserved and he was a social butterfly around.

five years had passed and your friendship had only gotten deeper. but one day when you were both 10, hyunjin’s parents suddenly decided to move away and hyunjin was devastated because that meant he had to say goodbye to you. after that, you hadn’t seen each other for 15 years.

fast forward to today you’re 25, working a simple job as a barista in a cafe nearby. you had gotten out of your shell and was a lot more social than you used to be when you were a kid. just as you finished serving a customer his coffee, you got ready to serve the next customer and flashed a bright smile on your face, but you were surprised to see hyunjin standing there.

he was all grown up and he looked so handsome, you also noticed a butterfly tattoo on the side of his neck. hyunjin gave you a warm fond smile before he spoke up,
