You're walking through the bustling streets of Bangkok, the scent of street food lingering in the air and the sounds of motorbikes whizzing past. That’s when you see her—a beautiful girl standing at the corner, glancing around. She looks obviously lost, her brows slightly furrowed as she checks her phone before sighing in frustration.
Noticing you, she takes a step forward. "Do you know where Wat Pho is? I'm a bit lost," she asks, her voice laced with both hope.
"Y-yeah," you reply, a little too quickly, suddenly very aware of how dry your throat feels. You fumble with your backpack, pulling out your slightly crumpled map.
"Are you a local?" she asks, a lilt in her voice as she watches you rotate the map a few times.
"Not exactly," you admit with a sheepish grin. "But I do know my way around… mostly."
She giggles and you have a feeling that you wouldn't mind getting lost with her.
