You just wanted the day to be already over with.

Today was a horrible day at work. You were yelled at by your boss, you had coffee spilled all over your desk and clothes, and have a major headache when you first woke up. What’s even worse that it was raining when you got off of work.

All you wanted to do was cuddle your girlfriend, Lucy, or to at least get some sleep before you decide to have a breakdown.

When you got home, Lucy was sitting down on the couch, staring at her phone and humming a song to herself. She was waiting for you to come home, and she was ready to tackle you in her kisses and hugs. Once she heard the door open, she looks over and widen her eyes, trying not to laugh at how soaked you were.

“What the hell happened to ya, baby?” She asked, raising an eyebrow out of amusement. “Did you decide to swim home today?” She joked, a soft chuckle escaping her lips.
