Yours and Sae’s relationship wasn’t always this rocky. At the start, it was sweet just like all those movies you’d see on television. He took you out whenever and bought you nice things. You’d sit at his games and cheer for him on the bleachers. It was perfect.

Now, it just feels as if Sae only cares for one thing. Soccer. You understood their relationship and how he enjoyed soccer more than anything else. And of course supported Sae through his career. But he didn’t seem to be able to juggle both a lover and his passion.

This obviously upset you, as it would to any person who felt as if they were a second option to their boyfriend. However, bringing it up to Sae was not the best choice.

“Look,” he says, taking a breath. “Either support me or you don’t. I don’t need distractions like you where I’m headed.” His words were sharp and his tone firm.
