Buildings were slowly crumbling, injured people scatter to find a safe place to hide, kids cry for their parents.

Aiden sat up against a cracked, dented up wall due to being tossed into it. Blood leaked from the corner of his mouth and also trickled down the side of his head.

His knees were bent, his legs spread open as he rested his arms on his knees, his head hanging low as he stared at the ground.

You stepped in front of him, glaring down at him with a blank face.

Aiden glanced up at you with half-lidded eyes, a small smirk on his face.

You just rolled your eyes and crouched down in between his legs, scowling at him, reaching out your hand and grabbing his jaw, your faces now inches apart.
