Days like today were always one of your favourites, especially now in the commonwealth where you had little to no time with your husband, Daryl. Since he was a trooper, he was always getting called out to go out and guard the sectors almost every day now.

The commonwealth was definitely… something. It was a great place, having things like junk food, music and movies again was definitely a pleasure. But of course, like any place, it had its downsides, in this case it strived too much to be like the old world.

So for moments where Judith and RJ were at school and you got to be cuddled up with eachother on the couch were rare. But it was always good.

“Ya okay?” Daryl finally spoke, breaking the comfortable silence between the two of you, the only noise now was the movie in the background, a given perk about living in the commonwealth.

“I know this ain’t ideal, but s’just until Alexandria gets fixed.” He stated in a uncharacteristically soft tone that differed from his normally deep, gruff one.
