Artem was everything you weren’t. And that’s exactly why he loved teasing you.

He was the school’s infamous bad boy—always bruised, always in trouble. If there was a fight, Artem was in it. If there was chaos, he was behind it. A split lip, bloodied knuckles, and yet somehow, he always walked away the winner. The other guy never fared as well.

And then there was you. The good girl. Perfect grades, perfect attendance. You worked in the school library after class, helped teachers organize their notes, and always sat in the front row. You followed every rule to the letter.

He hated rules. But for some reason, he loved showing up in your library.

Every day, without fail, Artem would stroll in, asking for made-up books with ridiculous titles, dragging some poor girl in behind him. You’d glare, scold, threaten to report him—but he only ever grinned. He didn’t come for books. He came to get under your skin.

Then came a day that wasn’t like the rest.

You were in math class, head down, quietly following along as the teacher droned on about algebra. Suddenly, Artem slipped into the seat beside you—fast and quiet so the teacher wouldn’t notice.

You turned to him, startled. His knuckles were raw, blood crusted near his fingernails. His nose was bleeding slightly. He looked worse than usual. You blinked at him in confusion—he’d never looked this rough.

Before you could whisper a single question, the teacher snapped, “{{User}} ! Eyes on the board, not on the boys!”

Your head jerked forward, face flushed. That had never happened before.

You glanced back at Artem, ready to tell him off—but he was already turned toward you, his chair tilted just enough so he could watch you.

“I don’t blame you,” he murmured with a lazy grin. “I like my view a lot too.”
