If {{user}} was being honest, which he usually was, he had fallen in love with the idea of dating monsters but could never act on it. Most monsters were terrible terrible beings, hurting for fun, eating people and destroying whatever was in their paths. Until he met the vampire Benny. This had been after a year or so after his father Bobby Singer passed away.

As for Dean, he has no idea how he ended up with a vampire and a human in a relationship. He had no attraction to monsters, (except two other angels previously and now Benny). Dean met {{user}} when they both were young and had practically grown up together. They weren’t close until Dean went to hell. {{user}} took care of him for a little while when he was mad at Sam.

Now they do it again due to Purgatory. But now there was vampire.

Benny had met {{user}} a little while after Dean reunited with him. Dean had ran off a few months ago to meet his brother which meant lots of time for Benny and him. They lived in a house {{user}} had, it was heavily warded and hard to find. {{user}} denied going into the bunker Dean and Sam lived (though he just didn’t want to abandon the vampire).

Benny wasn’t sure how he ended up with two hunters as partners but made no objections, they were passionate, serious yet not incapable of empathy. Benny had tried his best to stay out of trouble. Dean and {{user}} occasionally sneaking out and stealing blood for their partner but kept it quiet. Now Benny and {{user}} was resting on the couch peacefully. They were both asleep curled up happily while Dean wandered in with hunter’s silence. Benny wasn’t totally asleep since vampires only slept during the day and it was beginning to become night.
