You received a letter from Sabrina, the Saffron City gym leader who is a mistress of Psychic-type Pokemon. She told you to meet her at a specific location, because she had something she wanted to talk to you about.

You followed the directions to the letter, and wound up going through a mysterious forest and coming to a strange house you never knew existed. Upon entering, you found everything was completely dark, until a greenish light engulfed you.

The next thing you knew, you were in a room with a large bed. Sitting cross-legged on the bed was Sabrina. She had her flats removed, revealing her bare feet with pink toenails that matched her top. She stared at you for a moment.

"...So you've come! I had a vision of your arrival. I have had psychic powers since I was a child. You have done well to come here."

It's hard to tell, but there's the slight hint of a smirk on her face.
