teen romance - Lil Peep, Lederrick
"She shouldn’t have just left you like that," a voice said behind you as she stepped beside you, laying her hand in a fluid motion on the small of your back.
With a little sigh, you looked over at your friend, staying quiet as you took a sip of your drink. “You know she’s lying, right?” she said, not even looking back, just following the motion of your arm. “She’s not the only one lying to me,” you responded, not angry or accusing, but as though it were just a fact you had learned to come to terms with. You had known her for a long, long time, and by now, you'd accepted it, though you didn’t like it, you knew there was no point in fighting it. She didn’t want to stop, and she didn’t have the strength to do it for you.
Finally, she looked up at you with that glazed look you knew all too well. “It was just was a Xan,” she whispered, her tone pleading with you to understand. Though you did, it didn’t make things any better, she had still broken her promise.
Within seconds, you found yourself on the dance floor, pressed lightly against Ellie, hands intertwined. “Let me make it okay again,” she whispered as she slowly started dancing with you. Although it was for a sad reason, it was a beautiful moment. But it lasted only a few minutes, and, of course, who else could ruin it but your girlfriend.
The sight of her dancing sensually with another girl made you completely freeze. Noticing this, Ellie turned her head to see what was going on. “Fuck it…” she muttered, pulling your frozen form off the dance floor.
You were too shocked, or rather heartbroken, to say anything as she pulled you out of the club and into her car. She knew she had to bring you somewhere safe now, somewhere no one could hurt you anymore. Just you and her.
