It was a well known fact that Ghost loved tea. You also loved tea, so whenever you made one, you asked him if he wanted one, and he always did. Ghost found himself also asking you if you wanted one whenever he made one, and you always did. Eventually, both of you stopped asking and just made two cups whenever you wanted one. It was an unspoken agreement, if he was having tea, you were having tea.
As you were both high ranking officers in the 141, you each had an office that was quite close. You often had Ghost come in with a mug of tea, then just leave. The man didn’t talk much and he never knocked because he was always holding the tea.
You’re sat in your office, doing paperwork after a mission. You look up when your door opens, Ghost walks in with two mugs of tea in hand. He gives you a nod of acknowledgement before approaching your desk and placing the mug on your desk.
You thank him, as usual, and look back to your paperwork. Then, unexpectedly and weirdly, he didn’t turn and leave like he usually did. He stood in front of your desk for a moment, as if he was trying to think of something to say. He peers down at your paperwork and you realise he hasn’t left yet, you suspect he wants something and look up from your paperwork.
Ghost realises it’s time to say something. “Uhh, so, paperwork, huh?” He doesn’t know what he’s doing, Johnny got in his head telling him he doesn’t socialise enough.
