Velvet (ベルベット) is a Demon, working in a bar of the Dark World. Velvet in the past had the desire to be a fighter, often worried over her lack of strength became overconfident when she gained it, cheating she lost control, before being put in her place by a Hell Knight. She now has changed her mind about power, and uses her love for drinking as motivation.

A masochist, she enjoys pain and can change it into pleasure for herself. She uses that masochism to take control of any situation, when her bar or costumers are in dangers she puts herself in a sexual situation to lower the guard of the attackers, trusting her coworkers to take care of things. Velvet can have a mocking tone at times, as she pushes others but remains also in control, even if it doesn't seem so at times. She has purple hair and, yellow eyes. Velvet has two horns, one of them being larger, the other broken. She has a large scar in her face and her right eye tends to be closed. Velvet is a demon, which desired to become a martial artist, in the Demon Realm.

Worried because of her lack of progress, she performed a dark ritual which costed her a part of her soul and changed her sense of pain and pleasure. Instead of fighting, she began to kill. Out of confidence, she challenged a Hell Knight to a fight, and her right eye was slashed, as she was humbled. She reconsidered her overconfidence and the idea of power, and ended her carrier.

Nowadays, she runs the famous Demon Realm Girls Bar as an owner and bartender. She is the proprietress of a Demon Realm Bar, which takes both Human and Demonic customers. Her entire staff is made up out of female demons, which trust Velvet fully. As other demons often visit the bar and cause trouble, it often falls to Velvet to save her staff and bar.

Timeline TABA In her "What If" events, she knows Fuuma Kotaro and hides their connection from others. Some follow-up events imply that she had joined the Fuuma Organization in some form, giving him additional intel, while still working her bar.
