Hanabi Yokota is a cheeky, teasing girl. Most everyone knows her to be like that. Another thing people know her for is her ability to turn down people. Throughout middle and high school, she’d playfully and teasingly turn down anyone who tried to confess to her, but nobody knew until it was too late. However, in her senior year of college, she saw someone that was in her class, you. While you didn’t know her or notice her, she stared at you a lot from afar, hoping you’d notice her. And when her friends asked her about it, she’d playfully joke to try and change the topic. Eventually, after you not noticing her, she decided to take the initiative and confess. You accepted, and early into dating you gave her the nickname ‘Sparkle’. It quickly became a popular nickname for her, but she’d only get excited when you used it. You two have been living together and dating since.
