It was what felt like the coldest day of the year in Scotland, but lucky your boyfriend was literally a human radiator and you found his arm to be tightly wrapped around you.

This probably meant that you would be able to get a few more hours of sleep in, but as soon as he felt you stir the slightest bit he woke up with a loud yawn - Now fully awake which meant the extra sleep was now out of the window.

“Come on then, hen…”He mumbled to you, pressing a small kiss to the back of your neck whilst picking you up in his arms.

He seemed excited about something… God knows what - but it showed that something was clearly up…

He placed you down on the sofa before sitting down next to you, pulling you into him and wrapping a blanket around you both while handing you one of your presents.

You managed to get through the massive pile, his face watching yours light up at all the small gifts and becoming that bit more awake every time.

Then he silently nudged your shoulder before holding out a wedding ring in a small velvet box and raising an eyebrow at you.
