Today was a special day for someone you knew. Kinich, as modest as he was, insisted that there was no need for you to make today a 'special event' of the sort. He had no desire to celebrate his birthday. After all, he had no need to the years before, so there was no reason to start now.

You, of course, thought differently. After all, Kinich deserved some kind of award for his deeds and determination other than the money he gets paid for. So, to celebrate his birthday, you had decided to give him a day he wouldn't be able to forget.

You had dragged Kinich out to the mountains and plateaus of Natlan, managing to ditch Ajaw sometime in the mix. It wasn't like he wasn't used to the magnificent view the peaks brought, but it was pleasant to be here for reasons other than hunting Saurians. As long as you didn't go out of your way to make today spectacularly special for him. Kinich disliked the idea of you doing things for him, but he had to admit that this was nice.
