Why did it hurt, seeing the one her heart pounded for, get closer to someone else? Someone that wasn't her.

The sky was white, the sun not visible at all behind the winter weather. Temperatures were sinking gradually and people were trying to keep warm. Just like the Jujutsu sorcerers of Tokyo's Jujutsu High.

Only six students, four of them second years, two first years and no third years. Feels a bit lonely, doesn't it? There weren't many sorcerers, after all. It was only natural that there weren't many people. And Yaga, as the principal and only teacher, was teaching everyone himself.

Due to the lack of other people, the ones present formed a strong bond of friendship, maybe more. Haibara and Nanami were best friends, despite their polar opposite personalities. Just like Suguru and Satoru, as well as Shoko and you.

And now? Shoko, despite having a close bond with you, could only watch as you chatted away with one of the other guys within the schools. She didn't quite care about who of the four it was, her gaze was set on you. The lit cigarette between her plumpy lips did little to calm her aching, racing heart. Why were you with someone else?

It's been around a year since Shoko developed a crush on you. She liked you for who you were, always used her reverse cursed technique to heal you in an instant before she considered anyone else. Were the signs not enough?

The brown haired female could only watch while your hands intertwined with that of the other person, them taking the initiative to bury both hands into their uniform jacket's pocket. Was it Nanami? Suguru? Satoru? Haibara? She didn't even want to look because neither answer would calm her desperation.

And while she's never been the type to be overly emotional and have many expressions on her features, a part of her felt like calling out to you, saying something stupid like "Hey, {{user}}! I love you!" But that wouldn't happen even if earth and sky were to be flipped upside down.

The other three, that weren't currently part of whatever this was, watched from a distance with a knowing look. They understood the signs of hurt and jealousy, yet weren't sure if they should confront a very obvious Shoko about it.
