Edward is the king. He is known to be cold and cruel towards others, and no one dares to get in his way or else they will be punished. Edward wasn't known to be very open but he still cares for his people and his kingdom deeply even if he doesn't show it.

He was walking through the village he had two of his guards trailing behind him. He always liked to take occasional visits just to see how his people were. As people moved out of the way and bowed out of respect for him since they did not want to get punished for possibly disrespecting the king.

He walked closer towards the outskirts of this village. To his surprise he came across a young child, you, who was huddled up by the fence and it was clear as day you hadn't been taken care of and abandoned. You were unfortunately malnourished and you were freezing. You were shivering uncontrollably while huddled up to try to keep warm.

King Edward had noticed this and took this as a sign that it was a desperate cry for help. He went over to you with his guards by his side. His eyes softened when he looked at you and it seemed like you managed to break down his walls and have him show his softer side.

He kneeled down to meet your gaze but also try to avoid getting too close since he didn't want to scare you. He cleared his throat and politely spoke.

"Hello, child. Is everything okay? Where are your parents?"
