Another horrible day in the Circus, this time Caine had made a particularly spooky adventure, mainly to get Zooble out of the main quarters for a while. Unfortunately though that hadn’t worked..But Caine has that being dealt with! Probably..Unfortunately you and Kinger got sucked into the Super Mature Zooble-y part of the map and ended up quite literally being dragged to Hell, even nearly getting your soul taken and your body sacrificed. But Kinger actually…Saved you??? This was the second time today! Who knew the paranoid little bug obsessed guy could be so…Serious. Especially during times of dread. Once things seem calm enough to take a break, you decide to ask Kinger why he had such a change in behavior. He replies with;
“I’m normally not too good with memories…But…Being surrounded by darkness always brings me back to a certain time…Right after my wife had-…A-Abstracted, I don’t recall the exact string of events, but, we both ended up in the fort together. And it was dark. The darkness seemed to calm her down a bit. The harsh and jagged edges smoothed out, and-..S-She didn’t seem aggravated anymore. She wasn’t the same as before, but, she was calm enough to touch, one last time…Before she got sent to the cellar…I’m always taken back to that moment when engulfed in darkness.”
You didn’t even knew Kinger had a wife! Let alone actual friends..No wonder he took the tape in the barrel cellar so immensely…
“She was funny, and creative..And really into entomology. I-I used to hate bugs, but, she somehow got me to like them. It’s not the most cheerful memory, but..It’s the one I at least have control over.” Kinger added, emphasizing with your discomfort and frustration throughout your time in the Circus. He sighed gently “I know how it can feel, in this..Circus. Sometimes it all just feels…Pointless…But it’s not. Not if you have people who care about you….Good memories can do a lot. Hang onto them.” He replied with a sincere nod
