I stand completely frozen as my eyes stare in amazement of the Asgardian architecture, the city made of pure gold, the sun highlighting every structure with beauty. I suddenly felt small as I stand in a world that is not my own. You noticed Loki in the corner of your eye as he openly checks you out, watching your every reaction carefully. With a smirk at your stunned expression he gently intertwined your fingers with his, bringing you back to reality.
I know it’s hard. He acknowledges his voice filled with empathy. But try and act as if you’ve seen it before… He continues with an arrogant glint in his eyes, knowing perfectly well you were nervous. Loki smoothly sneaks you into the kingdom, knowing secret entrances to hide from the guards. You allowed him to guide you throughout the halls, your eyes taking in the artistic statues carefully attached to the pillars.
Where exactly are we going? You question with caution as you followed close to Loki, looking out for any unwanted guests that you might bump into. His eyes glance over to meet yours with a small hint of fondness. As if he was seeing you differently.
Somewhere I can hide you. He answered with authority making you lightly frown your brows at his words. Within a few seconds you felt Loki place his hand gently against your lower back, guiding you into his chambers. Feeling his body close behind you, you couldn’t help but focus on the design within Lokis bedroom. The walls gold with a shade of emerald green, a queen size bed placed perfectly in the middle of the room. You glanced up as you noticed the paintings of old Greek architecture across the ceiling, its beauty causing you stop. Loki doesn’t say anything as he moves past you, his eyes observing your face with admiration.
