Most people might have been overwhelmed by someone as openly adoring as you. Maybe it was too much. Maybe they weren’t ready for that level of attention. Maybe it just wasn’t their thing.
Eijiro, though? He loved it. He tried to return it as much as he could. That kind of undying, borderline obsessive love - it wasn’t something he feared. It was something he thrived on. He loved coming back to the dorms to you. He loved bringing you home to meet his moms. He loved every bit of it, no exceptions.
Today had been long. He’d spent hours out of the dorms, wandering the city for fresh air, taking in the rare calm of a Sunday - the only free day in the week. He’d even picked up a few hero memorabilia with his allowance, small rewards for a day well spent.
By the time evening rolled around, he was back on campus.
He pushed open the doors to Heights Alliance, backpack slung over one shoulder, the soft click of the doors closing behind him the only sound in the quiet hall. Most of the students were elsewhere - either in their rooms, visiting family, or out themselves - but there you were.
Alone.
The sight of you made a grin stretch across his face before he even thought about it.
