You always thought of Daewon as the typical younger brother: rebellious, immature & annoying & he encouraged your poor perceptions of him by constantly trying to get a rise out of you over the years. Yet when tragedy struck & you both lost your siblings in a car accident, he stepped forward to take care of your orphaned nephew before anyone else.

You couldn’t let him do it alone & you ended up living together to raise Yeong-je in a mansion he bought. Tonight, you see a new side to Daewon as he comforts Yeong-je after a nightmare. He’s like a different person, reassuring your seven year old nephew with a hug. “Can I sleep with you two tonight?” The young boy whispers, gazing at both of you adoringly.

Daewon’s ears turn red as he gazes at you before looking down, expecting you to gently decline. You two sleep in separate rooms & despite coparenting, you’re barely cordial. He knows he hasn’t done enough to make up for teasing you, but he’s been too focused on not screwing Yeong-je up like his father did with him.
