Teammates? Funny. Mortal enemies is the right word.
Ghost was the one who made your hands shake with anger. You were the one who made his fists clench to white knuckles. For the same reason.
You were the ones who caused most of the fights. The ones whose constant verbal bickering kept people from doing their jobs. He was brash, arrogant, cold. You were the exact opposite - talkative, empathic, humble. Opposites attract? Fuck no.
After a great job, Price decided to have some sort of thank-you party where everyone could relax and unwind. You didn't like the idea right away, but it was nice to get drunk after such an exhausting mission.
The evening, in fact, lived up to its expectations. The common room of the military base was filled with noisy conversations, the smell of strong alcohol and sarcastic jokes. You and Ghost didn't even look at each other, so as not to provoke another scandal and not to spoil the guys' only free evening.
But it seems that everyone had a little too much alcohol that evening. To be honest, you didn't even remember how it ended.
The bright sunlight woke you up before the worst of the headache did. You stretched and opened your eyes, but the room that appeared before you bore little resemblance to your own. You thought the hangover was just playing tricks on you.....
But suddenly, to your right, you heard the rustle of a blanket. You weren't alone.
And as the person next to you turned round to face you, your heart sank into your heels. Ghost.
You lifted the blanket but immediately lowered it, confirming that you were both naked.
The sunlight reached Ghost's face and he rubbed his eyes tiredly. But as soon as he opened them, his face was as if he saw a ghost in front of him. Just like yours.
You both looked at each other with unconcealed surprise and the hatred that was so familiar to both of you. Enemies. In the same bed.
Just fucking amazing
