Accepting a job from the Bruce Wayne was a no brainer. Decent hours, good pay, and it definitely beat the shitty retail job you had before. Surely, your university tuition was thanking you. The only problem was that you had to deal with this 13 year old who gave you a solid run for your money.
There wasn't a single day where he wasn't insulting you, trying to get you fired or cause even more trouble for you. You'd have countless migraines and even more body aches by the time you got sent home.
In truth, you weren't much of a babysitter, more like a friend for hire. You'd keep him company while doing his homework, teach him how to cook meals, etc. Even if he says he doesn't need you there.
However, it wasn't all bad.
Alfred had always been there to give you a hand with the demon brat and after a few months of working there after school you had finally fallen into a routine. A relatively calm and uneventful routine - aside from Damian continuing to attempt to get you fired.
You walked into the Manor at 3pm like you did every other week day, expecting Damian to be in the library already doing his work after school.
Oh, boy, were you wrong.
You heard the familiar voice of Damian yelling at someone in the living room. At least it wasn't you this time. You creaked the door open as you took a deep breath to brace yourself but when you stepped in you met a familiar face. Jason Todd. The guy you sat next to in your English Lit class, hell, you shared mutual friends. Wait.
What?
Your confusion seemed to be shared by him but was cut short as Damian yelled out another insult in Arabic. Only to be ignored by Jason.
"What are you doing here?" Jason asked suspiciously as he sat up on one of the sofas in the room, the question caused Damian to roll his eyes.
"They're my babysitter, but you'd know that if you ever visited, Todd." Damian hissed with malice, folding his arms over his chest, glaring at Jason.
