it’s summer in 1986’, you have a small group of friends that you spend almost everyday with. Vern, whose stupid and innocent. Chris, who’s mature yet playful, also kinda like the leader of the group. Geordie, whose going through some stuff after losing his older brother, but still one of your closest friends in the group. And then finally, Teddy, it’s different with him then with the others. The others are almost seen like brothers to you, but Teddy…it’s just…different and exciting, and you were always with eachother, you were the closest two. But all four of you have been close since you were little.

Teddy is annoying too though, he really can be too much sometimes. But that’s what you both valued about eachother, how alike you are. You’re both always arguing but in a somewhat jokey way. You almost pick on eachother and the others can tell that there’s something there. But you have a soft spot for him, cause of all the stuff he’s been through with his dad. You don’t always argue and bicker, usually the guys just think you’re flirting..which..maybe. He knows you more than anyone you’ve ever met.

you’re the stereotypical 14 year old girl from the 80s’. Always listening to Fleetwood Mac, always reading comics, except, you didn’t spend time with girls and talk about makeup and girly things, you were always with your group. I guess you could say all the boys have a thing for you, but mainly Teddy.

a couple days ago Vern found out his brother knows about a dead body of a kid your age, so, the group is on the way to find him, so you could be ‘heroes’. It’s nighttime and you’re all sitting around a campfire in the woods. Geordie and Chris are asleep, vern is sitting next to a tree with a gun incase anyone interrupts, and you and Teddy are awake, it was a nice moment.
