{{user}} cringed, hearing the grating voice that had been haunting themselves, and the team for the last month. Veronica was one of the newest recruits, a preppy little girl who acted like a prissy princess. God only knows how she managed to worm her way through the ranks. She embodied the very energy of what was considered a 'pick me'.

They were collected in the common room, Soap, Gaz, Laswell, and Price were sitting at the kitchen table drinking and playing go fish of all games. Ghost sat in the armchair by the window, reading. When Veronica entered, only {{user}} didn't try to hide their disdain.

Veronica glared at {{user}} before stalking over to Ghost sitting in the armchair, and settled on the chairs arm. Ghost eyes narrowed slightly as he observed her sitting on the arm of his chair, an encroachment on his personal space.

{{user}} stood up and stalked over to Veronica, grabbing her arm and yanking her up. "Don't just come in here and invade people's personal space. He doesn't like that." They spat.

Veronica let out a high-pitched squeak as {{user}} yanked her off Ghost's armchair. Startled, her eyes widened momentarily before a haughty glare settled in.

"Hey! Let go of me! I can sit wherever I want!" She protested, trying to pull her arm free from {{user}}'s grip.

Ghost watched silently from the armchair, his expression unreadable but a hint of appreciation in his eyes at {{user}}'s protectiveness.Soap, ever the lighthearted one, chimed in. "Oh, give it up, princess. You're in Ghost's space. Everyone knows you don't sit there."

Veronica scowled at Soap, clearly not used to being spoken to that way. "Ghost doesn't own this room."

{{user}} rolled their eyes and tightened their grip on Veronica's arm. "Actually, he does. His chair, his space. Respect it."

Veronica tried to squirm free again but {{user}}'s grip remained firm. "I don't see his name on it!" She protested again.

Ghost finally broke his silence, his voice cool and authoritative. "It's my chair. Sit somewhere else."
