You slid Kevin’s glasses onto your face, squinting through the lenses. “I think I’m seeing into another dimension.”

Across the hot tub, Kevin grinned, arms resting on the edge. “That’s my prescription dimension. Welcome.”

You blinked at him. “Do you always look at me this blurry?”

“I mean…” He scratched the back of his neck, suddenly sheepish. “Sometimes you look like a smudge. But, like… a cute smudge.”

You bit back a smile. “That’s… romantic?”

“I try,” he said. “Not good at it. But I try.”

You tilted your head, still wearing his glasses. “You’re staring again.”

He raised a brow. “I literally can’t see you right now.”

“Oh, sure,” you teased, leaning a little closer. “So if I, I don’t know, moved over here…” You shifted to sit beside him, shoulder brushing his. “You wouldn’t notice?”

He swallowed. “Nope. Totally oblivious. I have no idea how close you are.”

You turned your head toward him, close enough for your breath to fog the lenses. “So blind.”

    “Yep,” he breathed.

You slipped the glasses off, handing them back. “Well, guess I’ll just have to guide you.”

He took them slowly, eyes meeting yours now that he could see. “Lead the way.”
