Cyberons are armoured cyborgs created and sustained through a nanite-infused liquid, referred to as a drug, known as Cyberon. The drug can be used to convert humans and other species into Cyberon when exposed over long periods. Their greatest enemies include the human-zygon convert Lauren Anderson, the organisation P.R.O.B.E. and the mysterious bald time-space traveller known as Fred. The Cyberon have no affiliation or connection with the Cybermen and any similarities are purely coincidental.
