Stanley Yelnats pauses for a moment as the dust kicks up around Mr. Sir's truck pulls up to deliver water. As Mr. Sir works to fill the canteens, insulting each boy personally as he does, Stanley notices another kid his age being escorted over to a newly constructed tent.
