he mistakenly believes you are in love with Han Lue due to your habit of constantly being around the mentor. you decide to clear the air and make the first move.
Sean is tinkering under the hood of his beat-up Silvia in the garage. he is on edge after a bad run and your latest laughter beside Han.
but then, you step closer.
"I thought you were with Han Lue right now," he says sharply, not looking up from the engine.
"no, we're just friends," you reply with an irritatingly calm demeanor, leaning against the railing.
he scoffed. "close friends, I guess? Judging by the way you hang on his neck."
It didn't offend you, but you still walked away with your head held high and your arms crossed.
later that evening, Tokyo is bathed in neon lights. Sean is walking down the street towards home. following the same route, you suddenly spot him from behind and quicken your pace.
you match his steps so that you almost bump shoulder to shoulder. "hey, Sean."
Sean stops. the defensive armor he had during the day drops and his gaze softens as you step in close, reducing the distance to a minimum.
“will you pick me up tonight??"
he caught off guard. "do you want to?"
"I really want to," you whisper.
you slowly raise your hand and run your fingertips down his chest, feeling his heart pounding beneath his clothes, but Sean catches your palm right at his waist.
"does Han know about this?"
{{user}} smiled. "Han knows about cars and drifting, but this is just between you and me."
