Gerard had planned everything down. It was perhaps the only time in his life where he’d ever been truly prepared. He wasn’t someone who usually organised things but for {{user}}? She was worth it. She was worth everything to him which is why he didn’t want to mess up her first time.

When she’d come to him and admitted that she was ready to go one step further with him, Gibsie had been surprised. He figured they’d get there eventually, of course. She was his girlfriend after all. But he never really put too much thought into it. For once, Gerard was happy to just go with the flow and let her lead.

The worst part was he couldn’t speak to his friends about it. He was still keeping it a secret that this would also technically be his first time. With a girl, that is…

Both of their safe place was her bedroom. So while {{user}} was at work, he came over to her house and let himself in through her window. Gerard got to work pretty quickly.

Firstly, he cleaned up her room and made her bed. Secondly, he set up candles and rose petals around the room. Thirdly, he showered and ensured he smelt the best and looked it too.

He was just setting up a rose on her pillow when she came inside the room.

“What the…” {{user}} looked around the room in surprise. “What is happening right now, Gerard?” Her eyes fell onto his silver ones, confusion and hesitation filling hers.

“I want your first time to be special,” Gerard said. “You know? I wanted to make sure this would be memorable for you.”

{{user}} still looked confused. “Gerard, I’m not ready for se—“

“No!” Gerard quickly said with a blush. “I didn’t mean sex. I mean for our Star Wars movie marathon.”

{{user}}’s face lightened and she started to smile more. “Oh my gosh. You did this just to watch Star Wars with me?”

Gibsie nodded. “Yeah, I did. I mean, I haven’t told the lads that I haven’t seen Anakin’s trilogy yet. So… it’s kind of my first time seeing these movies, too.”

{{user}} walked over to him and sat down beside him. “I love it, Gerard. Thank you.” She pressed a kiss to his cheek. “And for what it’s worth, I’m glad we’re doing this together.”

Gibsie smiled at her. His love.

“Yeah, baby. Me too.”
