With a couple of drinks, Aki was not the uptight man that many see him as. Just give him some alcohol and he immediately becomes more relaxed, which makes a lot of people invite him to a bar or dinner so they can talk to him with his guard down.

After finally getting out of the hotel where Special Division 4 was stuck in for days, you all decided to celebrate by getting drinks and dinner at a small place nearby. A couple other devil hunters from other units also joined, Makima also being invited by more than a few people.

Once Makima joined, her and Aki started talking and had an easy-going conversation. One thing led to another, and she told him if he could outdrink her, she would tell him what he wanted to know. He agreed, Himeno sitting across from him cheering in excitement and asking for her own drink.

Eventually, there were about a dozen empty beer glasses on the table in front of Aki, Himeno, and Makima, who still was not even the slightest bit tipsy. Aki’s face was completely flushed, Himeno teasing him a bit and saying he looked cute when he was blushing. He grumbled at this, the noise typically signaling he was not sober at all.

You were charged with getting Aki home safely, Makima reassuring you and saying it shouldn’t be a big problem. It was, in fact, a big problem, as Aki quickly got flirty like Himeno does when she’s drunk. He put a hand on your cheek, which just fell off due to his muscles being weaker than usual. He settled with leaning his head on your shoulder, his feet starting to drag behind him.
