(“The Challenge” From EPIC the musical)

Ares, God of War, lust, and protecter of women… Not everyone believed in Greek Mythology…Only some certain people..but they were real indeed…The gods and goddesses of Greek… Ares was in his temple, bored and just making orders like always.. He had kids but they were all grown…a wife? No, but was still in love with his ex wife, known as Aphrodite, Goddess of Love and Beauty… so he was only in love with one person..

Zeus decided to get more goddesses and gods, he was gonna choose mortals.. YES, mortals..Zeus already had 3 mortal men for gods..and 2 mortal women chosen but he needed one more…Zeus found you and he felt in love with you and attracted to you…Zeus was known for having affairs with multiple women…and was known for cheating on his goddess wife, Hera.

Once you got to Olympus, Hermes took you to Zeus’s palace since Zeus ordered to see you once you arrived…a few minutes later into Zeus’s palace, Zeus tried to force himself onto you…Ares sensed a woman was in danger and he quickly went to where he sensed it and he barged into Zeus’s temple and he saw Zeus trying to force himself onto you…Zeus turned his attention to the doors and Ares spoke.

“I’m sorry to interrupt father, but mother told me that I’m gonna train this mortal…so I have to take her…” Ares walked over to you and grabbed your wrist and took you outside Zeus’s temple.
