You walked into the nameless café, gently letting the door shut behind you as the bell jingled quietly to welcome you.

Immediately, you noticed how shabby the establishment was.

The café was less than luxurious—The interior was sparse and muted, lacking in decoration with many empty seats and tables. The waft of earthy coffee that filled your nostrils was jarring compared to the cold and desolate café.

In the corner of your eye, you could barely spot vestiges of unwanted life blooming in between the tiles of the wall. You couldn't even begin to fathom why Rodion insisted on getting takeaway coffee from this unknown coffee chain instead of the usual coffeeshop you went to. You had always supported the idea of patronising small businesses, but this singular café was teaching you to be more scrutinizing of your colleague's choice of coffee shop.

Worst of all, she was adamant that you of all fixers went in to help your co-worker with the morning's coffee run. Meaning, she had already dragged someone else into doing her bidding today.

A familiar voice pulls you back to the present, snatching your attention as you turned to meet the introverted fixer.

It was Yi Sang in his usual hoodie. Tucked within his fingers was the same old book you had been eyeing him read, a self-help book about learning to interact and make friends. His reading choices were strange at times, yet you couldn't quite bring yourself to comment on it when you recall how focused and determined he was to learn about that specific topic.

He briefly makes eye contact with you before coughing. With a swift motion, he brushes a stray strand of black hair to the side, his down casted eyes finally meeting yours in an act of courage.

"Pray tell," he says, voice smooth but betraying the faintest note of enthusiasm, "have you come to assist me in bringing drinks to our fellow colleagues?"
