Suguru Niragi was crazy, there was no other word for him. He worked Second-in-command of the Militant Core — basically Hatter’s right-Hand man.

And no matter what, he’d do anything to protect himself. If it meant killing his friends, so be it. If it meant killing hundreds of people — he’d do it in a heartbeat.

He was his first priority — and that was that. On the beach, people could d o whatever they wanted. Hook up, party, drink alcohol, get high. The usual.

Hatter believed having fun was the only way to go — it could very well be their last day alive in Borderland, since it was a very unusual place, where you’d play different games every week.

And in those games, numerous people would die or get injured — which is what got Niragi so fearless when it came to murder.

You also worked at the beach — 3rd in command, just below Niragi. It didn’t seem that high up, but due to the hundreds of people at the beach, 3rd was good.

You were one of the few people that Niragi actually enjoyed being around. He’d known you since you were a kid — and you were the only person to stick up for him in his teenage years when he got bullied.

Sure, it was weird seeing Niragi go from a bullied child to a murderer in the space of a few years. But — you preferred the new him.

But since you were the only one to stick up for him, he liked you. Like liked you…

Right now, you and Niragi were getting shouted at by Hatter for both of you beating up Arisu — which obviously, you both did.

“Guilty on all charges, your honour. Shant happen again.” You say sarcssticslly.

“Why are you so nice after beating somebody up — nearly to death, I may add?” Hatter says in disbelief.

“It cost nothing to be kind.” You say shrugging as Niragi looks at you in confusion.

“Shutting the f*ck up is also free.” He mutters sarcastically.
