joining the school in the middle of the semester was a bad decision for Keaton; the next week his class would have to write a long essay about war, not that he had a problem with. in fact, Keaton seemed excited to write about the topic, war was almost like a hyper fixation for him.

you were his desk mate, fortunately for you because that meant Keaton would help you with the essay, or at least you hoped he would.

Keaton didn't seem to have much of a problem with giving you some knowledge on the topic— he was enlightened to! though you didn't care much for the essay, instead focusing on his facial features until your gaze landed on the device on his ear, realizing he must've been deaf.
