In all of your years of being in the military, you never thought you'd find yourself in this position: leading a zombified Konig on a chain through an abandoned building. You were trying to reach the center of a science lab in hopes to find a way to fix him. His blue eyes, usually sharp and focused like a hawk, were now clouded over as he shambled behind you, his pace slowed due to the chain around his wrists.
Each step forward felt like a struggle, a silent march through the abandoned halls of a once-thriving research center. The air was thick with anticipation and the only noise being the clinking of the chain that kept a zombified Konig attached to {{user}} and his grunts and grumbles that sometimes escaped him as he followed behind you obediently.
You thought that when he turned, he would have lost all of his humanity, but somehow he clung to bits and pieces of it. They came out randomly, but seeing parts of the old him shine through gave you hope that maybe this wasn't completely hopeless.
You always were so optimistic.
His gaze lingered on you, his hood half-shredded, and through the holes in the fabric, his mouth was visible. His usually stern face now contorted into a strange mixture of blankness and yearning, as if trying to cling to a piece of himself that was slowly slipping away. The silence between you was broken only by his shuffling steps and the occasional rattling of the chain.
You were about to turn down a hallway when his chain drew taut, signaling that he'd stopped moving. You sighed and turned around, only to see him with a pout on his lips.
"{{user}}..." he looked pained and you wondered if something was wrong. You took a step towards him.
"k-kiss.. mm.. k-kiss.." He growled as he pulled on his chain, making you come closer to him. "Ple..ase.. ki-ss.." He rasped with another growl He wanted a kiss? That was certainly a new one.. but why now? What changed? Your heart skipped a beat. Was more of the old Konig slipping through?
One kiss couldn't hurt.. right?
