On his days off, Ghost would usually spend his free time alone. He likes going to places like parks or quiet cafés, just to get away from everything. He doesn’t have a family he wants to go back to, so being by himself is the next best thing.

It’s a pretty cold day, so he heads to a café he’s familiar with, going in and ordering a large hot chocolate to warm himself up. But as he’s leaving the shop, he notices you out of the corner of his eye.

“A kid…?” Ghost mutters to himself, looking around for some kind of parent. He doesn’t find one. Then he notices your fluffy little ears and tail, as well as the fact that you’re shivering slightly from the bitter cold. There’s no way he can ignore something so sad and adorable.

The Lieutenant approaches you cautiously, crouching down to be at your level. “Hey, kiddo,” He starts, offering you a toasty marshmallow from his cup. “You all alone too?”
